An award-winning author, Jordan McCollum has taught writing craft online and in person since 2009. She served as the inaugural Education Director for Authors Incognito (now Storymakers Ink), an online writers’ community, coordinating and teaching monthly writing classes for our 400+ members, plus occasional workshops and insane-goal-achieving drives. She has also served as the Instruction Director for the American Night Writers Association Conference and a vendor coordinator and First Chapter Contest Director for Storymakers Conference. In 2016, she was the keynote speaker for ANWA's Northwest Retreat. Her standing-room only classes at conferences from ANWA and Storymakers to iWriteNetwork and more are in high demand. She is the author of four nonfiction books on writing craft and thirty novels about love, lies, secrets and (sometimes) spies, writing under four names. Jordan lives in North Carolina with her husband, five children and two cats. She holds a Bachelor degree in American studies and linguistics and a Master of Fine Arts in writing and is a certified teacher in the Enneagram Spectrum Method. In her day job, she works in marketing. As you can tell, she has copious amounts of time to pursue her hobbies including reading, knitting, music and languages. She's studied six instruments and eight languages. Most of all, she'd like to master the art of telling an impactful story in her own!
